Baltimoreans against the notion of bailing on We The People by bailing out big business will band together to protest the recently enacted federal corporate welfare act. The Bail Out People – Not Bankers! march and rally, part of the Bail Out the People Movement’s national days of protest, will take place Saturday, Oct. 25 at noon. The event kicks off at Baltimore’s Federal Reserve Bank, at 502 Sharp St.
If you’re interested in helping to organize the demonstration, your help is needed. A planning meeting will be held this coming Monday, Oct. 13, at the Waverly branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library, on 33rd Street between Greenmount Avenue and Barclay Street. The gathering will run from 6-7:30 pm.
